Demonstrate ambition and self-drive to be a force for good in your community by encouraging others to pursue higher education. Pen to Paper Scholarship
Write an essay of a minimum 250 words following on of the prompts provided 1. If you were a superhero, what would your superpower be? What would be your weakness? 2. Write a short story using the following three words as a foundation – (1) friendship, (2) abrupt, (3) repair 3. Describe a day in the life of an inanimate object.
Cancer Pathways 2025 Teen Writing
Open to 9th-12th graders who are impacted by cancer and live in the United States.
Essay length must not exceed 1,500 words.
Not eligible: poems, essays about a pet, or fiction
Essays must be original content of the author and in their own voice
Cash prizes of $1,000 will be awarded to the winners (winners will be asked to fill out a IRS W-9 form).
Winners will be invited to a virtual celebration and asked to read their essays
National Catholic Committee on Scouting
Be a practicing Catholic, Be a registered young man or woman actively involved with a Scout Troop, Venturing Crew, or Sea Scout Ship, Earned the Eagle Scout, Summit Award, or Quartermaster Award, Earned the Ad Altare Dei, Pope Pius XII, or Light is Life (Eastern Rite) Religious Emblem, and Provided service and leadership to your Church, community, school and Scouting

Connex Foundation Schoalrship (Trades)
pursuing a career in the skilled trades (example: electrical, plumbing, welding, HVAC, carpentry), construction and/or facility management industry. 2.5 min GPA, with a history of active involvement in extra-curricular activities, community service, or work experience
AMS Freshman Undergraduate Scholarships (meteorology)
Applicants must be entering their freshman year of college in the fall of 2025 as a full-time student and plan to pursue a degree in the atmospheric or related oceanic or hydrologic sciences. Marine biology does not meet this requirement. 3.0 Min. GPA
Animal Welfare Scholarship
High school seniors in the United States are eligible to apply for this scholarship if they (1) have demonstrated a commitment to animal welfare through volunteer work and/or advocacy and (2) intend to pursue a career that will seek to reduce animal suffering and protect vulnerable species.
American Indian Education Fund
Native American, Alaska Native, or Native Hawaiian (student or one parent must be enrolled and have documentation), Attending an accredited 2 or 4-year college/university within the United States. Fully online schools and summer courses do not qualify, Undergraduates must be enrolled as a full-time student. Graduate students must be enrolled 6-18 credit hours (amount of scholarship funding is based on credit hours), GPA between 2.0 – 3.5 is desirable, however ALL current or future undergraduate/graduate students are encouraged to apply. High school students with a GED and non-traditional students returning to school may apply.
Gordon A. Rich Memorial Scholarship
Applicants must be dependent children of full-time employees in the financial services industry (commercial banks, investment banks, securities brokerage firms, insurance companies, fund and asset management companies, credit card and finance companies and similar businesses as determined by the Foundation).
Freeport-McMoRan Native American College Scholarship

Hispanic Scholarship Fund Scholar Program
Must be of Hispanic heritage, U.S. citizen/legal permanent resident/or DACA, Min 3.0 GPA (H.S. Students) or 2.5 GPA (college/graduate students), PLan to enroll in a full-time accredited four year univerity or graduate school in the US for the 2023-2024 academic year.
